The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has declared three major roads of Haryana namely 'Ambala to Saha', 'Narnaul to Tohana' and 'Jind to Sonipat' as National Highways.
A notification to this effect has also been issued by the Central Government and Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari today handed over a copy of the Gazette Notification to Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij here, a statement released by the Haryana Government said.
Vij said that he had met the Union Minister several times for declaring Ambala-Saha-Shahbad road as National Highway. Resultantly, the Union Minister approved three new National Highways; NH-444 A, NH-148 B and NH-352 A, the statement said.

As per the statement, Vij said that NH-444 A, starts from its junction with NH-44 near Ambala connecting Saha and terminating at its junction with NH-44 at Sahabad in Haryana.
NH-148 B, starts from its junction with new NH-48 at Kotputli in Rajasthan connecting Narnaul, Mahendergarh, Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani, Hansi, Barwala, Tohana in Haryana, Mansa and terminating at its junction with NH-54 near Bathinda in Punjab.
He said that NH-352 A starts from its junction with NH-352 at Jind connecting Gohana and terminating at its junction with NH-334B at Sonipat in Haryana.
