Five boys feared drowned

Press Trust of India New Delhi

drowned in separate incidents in the capital this afternoon, fire officials said.

The incidents were reported from Sonia Vihar, Ranhola and Jaitpur.

In Sonia Vihar, two boys who were taking a bath in Yamuna River were washed away by a current while two children were fell into a sewer in Ranhola near Najafgarh.

One boy was feared drowned in a waterbody near NTPC in Jaitpur.

Officials said rescue operations were on to locate them.
