Jennifer Aniston to raise awareness about eye care

Former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston is leading a new campaign to bring awareness to a condition known as chronic dry eye.

The 47-year-old actress has partnered with Shire Initiative to launch eye love, after learning she suffers from the itchy eye condition, reported Contactmusic.

"My eyes often become dry, itchy and irritated, especially when I am reading or outside. The symptoms were bothering me so much that I finally decided to speak with my eye doctor, and learned I have dry eye," Aniston said.

The actress is now encouraging others to visit their eye doctor if they're experiencing similar issues.
