Serial snatcher nabbed

several cases of snatching was today nabbed by the Sahibabad police.

Sonu alias Parvez was arrested and 13 expensive mobile phones, a country made pistol and some ammunition was recovered from him, SP (City) Shiv Shankar Yadav said.

However, his accomplice Gulzar managed to flee, he said, adding that the two were part of a gang who had carried out incidents of snatching in Sahibabad and Loni among other areas.

During interrogation, Sonu allegedly identified someone in the Delhi Police of being involved in the crimes and this information has been passed on to them, he said.
