Woman, daughter accidentally fall into well, drown in UP

A 22-year-old woman and her six-month-old baby accidentally fell into a well and drowned in Uti village here, police said today.

The incident occurred in the Halia Thana area last night.

Kavita and her daughter accidentally fell into the well, which lacked a fence, when she was passing through the area along with her family, Superintendent of Police, Mirzapur, Asheesh Tiwari said.

The bodies could be taken out only after midnight.
