Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.
Godrej Industries has presence in chemicals, estate management (real estate), finance & investments.
On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.
Patel Engineering's Managing Director Kavita Shirvaikar said, "Our focus remains on delivering long-term value for our stakeholders while continuously enhancing operational efficiency and output."

Realty firm Prestige Estates Projects Ltd has launched three housing projects during the April-June quarter with an estimated revenue of Rs 12,000 crore, as part of its expansion plan amid strong demand.
In its latest operational update, Bengaluru-based Prestige Estates Projects informed that the company launched four projects with a combined developable area of 20.16 million square feet. Out of four projects, three are residential properties in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Mumbai. One  commercial project with a developable area of 3 million sq ft is in Bengaluru.
The company said the total revenue potential for these three residential projects is estimated at Rs 12,000 crore.

Dr Reddy's Foundation -- a family-owned trust and one of the key beneficiaries of the CSR funds of pharma major Dr Reddy's Laboratories -- is scaling up operations at its Hyderabad soil testing facility with the lab targeting between 75,000 and 1,00,000 samples ahead of the next Rabi season -- more than double what it processed in its first full year of operations.
The move comes amid growing concern over depleting soil health and implementation gaps in the Centre's Soil Health Card scheme rolled out nationally in 2015.
"Though the government's soil testing ecosystem exists, the scale of the problem is huge. So we decided to address this issue in our own way," said Suman Saraswathibatla, Director (Rural Livelihoods and Climate Action) at the foundation.

Emami Agrotech, which mainly sells edible oil, is expecting 10 per cent growth in revenue this fiscal to Rs 22,000 crore on strong demand, even as it remains watchful of risks attached with geopolitical tension, weather situation and commodity price volatility.
