If you find fighting games too immature for your tastes, try the latest update in the Halo series called Halo Wars. This game is meant for hardcore strategy fans. You can command your own troops in the battlefield, navigate maps and so forth as the game involves some real-time strategy. Halo has legions of fans across the world and the latest game is sure to increase this fan following. The game is only available on the Xbox platform, and is priced around Rs 2,599.

Sacred game

For the first time, an Indian game has been released on the Playstation format — called the Hanuman Boy Warrior. Of course, if you had to choose just one Indian superhero, Hanuman will probably be an obvious choice. And that’s precisely what Sonly along with game-developer Aurona have capitalised on.

The game puts players in the shoes of Hanuman who battles evil monsters and mythological creatures. It takes you on the journey of Hanuman’s life in two phases: Bal Hanuman and Yuva Hanuman. The game is basically targeted at children and adoloscent gamers. Priced at Rs 499, it is available only on the Playstation platform.

Fight the dark forces

For horror freaks, the latest version of Resident Evil, launched recently, makes a perfect pick. It shouldn’t pose much trouble for those who have played earlier versions of the game as most of the controls remain the same. For first-time players, adapting to the controls might be a problem though. The game has great graphics and some really amazing battle situations. Unlike the previous versions, there aren’t too many dark alleys or scary creatures lurking around. Priced at Rs 3,499.
