ACL, DMS Exploration form oil JV

Assam Company (ACL), has tied up with Austin-based DMS Explorations to form a joint venture oil exploration firm titled Austin Explorations.

The new venture will seek to become a major global player in the oil and gas industry, K K Jajodia, chairman of ACL, said in an official release today.

Austin Explorations would be headquartered in Austin with offices in London, New Delhi and Adelaide and will have Jajodia as chairman.

David Schette, president of DMS Exploration, will be president of Austin Explorations too.
