Balrampur Chini Q2 net dips 58% to Rs 28 cr

Balrampur Chini Mills today said its net profit declined by 58.37 per cent to Rs 27.55 crore in the quarter ended March 31, compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Total income rose to Rs 470.51 crore for the quarter ended March 31, compared to Rs 357.11 crore in January-March, 2009, Balrampur Chini said in a filing to the BSE.

Shares of Balrampur Chini today closed at Rs 82.25 on the BSE, down 1.50 per cent from the previous close.
