Birla Cotsyn, the flagship company of the Yash Birla Group, today announced the appointment of Debashis Poddar as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Poddar, who joins from Donear Industries, completes Birla Cotsyn's new team which aims to take the company to the next stage of its growth-cycle, a press release issued here said.
Poddar will be based in the company's corporate office in Mumbai and will oversee Birla Cotsyn's operations and further new projects.
Welcoming Poddar into the Yash Birla Group family, Yash Birla Group's Chairman, Yash Birla, said, "The appointment of Mr Debashis (Poddar) brings valuable skills and experience to Birla Cotysn, which are vital for strengthening the company's effectiveness."
