Blue Dart net rises 32% at Rs 7 crore

Courier and logistics company Blue Dart has posted a 31.95 per cent rise in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2003 at Rs 7.02 crore against Rs 5.32 crore for the corresponding period of the previous year.

Income from operations rose 17.5 per cent to Rs 89.82 crore (Rs 76.45 crore). Operating profit margin increased to 16.25 per cent (15.34 per cent).

For the nine months ended December 31 2003, the company's net profit increased 31 per cent to Rs 19.21 crore against Rs 14.64 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
