Catch Salt & Spices, part of the Rs 4,800-crore DS Group, is eyeing Rs 100 crore turnover in Uttar Pradesh during the current financial year.
“This would be a growth of over 10 per cent compared to last year, when it had clocked revenues of Rs 90 crore,” DS Spiceco Associate Business Head O P Khanduja said here.
“Uttar Pradesh is the biggest market for us due to its size and accounts for 30 per cent of our topline,” he informed.
Pan-India, the company is looking at 33 per cent increase in revenues at Rs 400 crore during 2014-15.
The consolidated annual spices market in India is estimated at Rs 40,000 crore, including branded and unbranded varieties.
The branded spices market is pegged at Rs 8,000 crore.
