Century Textiles net falls to Rs 100 cr

Century Textile & Industries, a B K Birla group-owned company today posted a 29 fall in net profit at Rs 100 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 as compared to Rs 141 crore posted by it in the same quarter a year earlier.

Net sales for the reporting quarter stood at Rs 1,115 crore, a drop of 0.53 per cent as against Rs 1,121 crore posted in the coresponding quarter a year earlier.
