Electrosteel profit dips 26.33%

Electrosteel Castings has posted a net profit of R 47.45 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2010, down by 26.33 per cent over the same period last year, primarily on account of higher input costs, freight, power and fuel. Net sales for the quarter, however, stood at Rs 424.96 crore, an increase of 10.47 per cent.
