ETA to open mall in B'lore

| Dubai-based ETA Star Property Developers Limited is developing a shopping mall in Bangalore. The 7-lakh square feet 'Bangalore CitiCentre' will be ready by the end of this year, P M H Syed Ismail, managing director, ETA Star Property Developers, said. The company did not disclose the names of any prospective joint venture partners for the project or the investments involved. |
| The project is likely to be launched on the lines of the Chennai CitiCentre opened over a year ago. ETA Star has two other residential projects on the anvil in Bangalore set to be launched in the second half of 2007. |
| The first is the ETA Star-Innovative Film City villa and apartment development project spread over a 5.50-lakh sft area in Bidadi, near Bangalore, in a JV with Innovative Film City. |
| On the second residential complex, coming up on 16.5 lakh sft, ETA has already spent Rs 15 crore over the past few months on constructing 10 towers of 21 storeys each. This apartment complex, situated about 1.2 km from the Bangalore City Railway Station is expected to be launched by the end of June this year, Ismail said. |
| Over the last few years, ETA has been gaining traction in the Bangalore property development scene with a slew of prestigious projects in the city. These include 'The Gardens', a 1.6-million square feet residential property, and 'Binny Crescent', a 4.5-lakh sft residential property at Benson Town in suburban Bangalore. |
