The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today said it has launched its products in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras in Central America.

In a statement, the company said it has launched the brand 'Hero' and its range of two-wheelers in Guatemala City, El Salvador and Honduras.

"Hero MotoCorp also announced a partnership with the reputed Indy Motos Group of Guatemala to bring its two-wheelers to these markets," it added.

Under the alliance, Indy Motos has been appointed as the authorised distributor of Hero MotoCorp range of two-wheelers in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

Commenting on the development, Hero MotoCorp Managing Director and CEO Pawan Munjal said: "This launch is a significant milestone for us considering this is the first of the new international markets, where we are starting our operations."

The launch is indicative of the significant role that markets in Central America and Latin America will play in the company's global expansion plans, he added.

The range of Hero two-wheelers being launched in these markets include Hunk, Karizma, Glamour, HF Dawn, Splendor NXG, Super Splendor and Achiever.
