Idea inks roaming deal with Saudi Arabian firm

 Mobily is a consortium between Emirates Telecom Corporation - Etisalat and several major investors from the private sector in Saudi Arabia.

 An Idea customer from Kerala travelling to Saudi Arabia has the option to log into either of the two cellular networks there - Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and Mobily. Similarly, visitors from Saudi Arabia travelling to Kerala can log on to Idea network.

 "Idea's aim is to provide customers better value consistently. With this service, the customers of Kerala travelling to Saudi Arabia and vice versa will have an easier mode of communication with their relatives," B Ramakrishnan, circle head (Kerala) of Idea Cellular, said.
