Jaiprakash clocks 18% growth in July cement sales

Infrastructure major Jaiprakash Associates today reported an 18% growth in its July cement sales at 14.47 lakh tonne against 12.21 lakh tonne in the same month last year.

During the April-July period of this fiscal, the cumulative sales stood at 56.34 lakh tonne, which is 10% higher than the sale of 51.21 lakh tonne in the year-ago period.

The company's 100% subsidiary Jaypee Cement runs the cement business.
