Jaiprakash Power net up 35% at Rs 22.77 cr

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 22.77 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, up 35.05 per cent as compared to Rs 16.86 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009 as filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Total Income grew by 52.31 per cent to Rs 181.30 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, as agianst Rs 119.03 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

The shares were trading down 0.30 per cent at 50.30 at 10:52 AM on the BSE.
