Leisure Hotels to woo Gujaratis this year

| Uttaranchal-based, Leisure Hotels (LHL) has set their eyes on travellers from Gujarat for the 'char dham yatra' that will kick off from April 28. |
| The yatra includes visit to four pilgrimage places in Uttaranchal such as Badrinath, Kedarnath, Rishikesh and Haridwar. |
| LHL has made extensive arrangement for tourists from Gujarat. |
| Vibhas Prasad, director of business development, said, "Tourist from Gujarat comprises about 40 percent of the total tourist in our hotel." |
| LHL receives 70 percent of tourists from northern and western India while, 30 percent are from rest of the regions which also includes NRIs. |
| "We expect to receive about 5,000 tourist from Gujarat this year for the Yatra. Almost an increase of 20 to 25 per cent as compared to last year," said Prasad. |
| LHL has started its fifth camp at Maneri UttarKashi for Gangotri to Kedarnath. This new camp will reduce travelling time from Gangotri to Kedarnath by three hours. |
| LHL has other four camps at Barkot in Yamunotri, Harfil at Gangotri, Guptakashi in Kedarnath and Joshimat in Badrinath. |
| "We will serve Gujarati cuisine to cater to the ever increasing number of Gujarati tourist in our hotels," said Prasad. For which, LHL has also arranged trained gujarati chefs . |
