A mobile application will allow commuters to recharge their monthly highway toll pass, receive real-time lane status, and lodge grievances from December. Users will also be able to upload pictures of the road condition for action by the concessionaire.

Feedback Brisa, a joint venture between Feedback Infra and Brisa, one of the largest motorway companies in Europe, is using the mobile application Ezeeway to improve business.

"We are using the application as a centralised solution to manage our projects. The application has automated tolling operations, route operations and maintenance," said Premjit Singh, managing director, Feedback Brisa.

The company plans to roll out Ezeeway for travellers. Besides providing a platform for grievances, the application will disseminate information on eateries and petrol pumps on highway stretches.

Ezeeway will initially be available for travellers on highways for which Feedback Brisa has the toll rights.
