Moonrakers expects Rs 2-3 cr turnover

| Hoping to cash in on the growing market for designerwear in what is being termed as the retail launchpad in the country, Moonrakers Lifestyle Ltd, a venture of Rashmi Tank & Partners, expects its premium lifestyleôfashion brand 'Luxuria' to do a business of at least Rs 2-3 crore in Gujarat. |
| Launched recently in Ahmedabad, Luxuria is the first store of the company in the country, with a few more following suit in other cities like Bangalore, Chennai and Surat in the coming months. |
| Speaking of the store, Rashmi Tank, Director, Moonrakers Lifestyle Ltd said Luxuria will showcase women's wear and men's wear, ranging from ethnic to western designer wear, accessories, and home & lifestyle products. |
| "While the women's range is designed by Luxuria, the men's wear range includes creations from designers Ashish Soni, Narendra Kumar, Abraham & Thakore and Priyadarshini Rao," said Tank. |
| Priced from Rs 1,500 to Rs 10,000 and beyond, Tank added that the pricing varies depending on the seasonal designer wears like wedding collections which are priced at a premium from Rs 5,000 onwards. |
| Spread over 10,000 sq ft, the store will also feature a lifestyle clinic and an in-house cafe lounge, among other things. The company is planning to rope in an international coffee brand for the in-house cafe lounge, whose name Tank declined to reveal. |
| Apart from Moonrakers Lifestyle Ltd, Rashmi Tank & Partners also run Silent Valley Promotions Pvt Ltd, a Rs 16 crore travel and leisure venture. With the aim to create a diversified business, Moonrakers Lifestyle will move on to other areas like retailing, fun and entertainment, said Tank. |
