NEWSALERT: Avon Corp's net rises 272%

Avon Corporation, the producer and supplier of healthcare products, has posted 272 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 7 crore  for the year ended Mar 31, 2009 as against Rs 1.88 crore in the previous year.

Net sales from operations zoomed during the year to Rs 79.59 crore from Rs 49.47 crore.

The company’s clientele list includes Sun Pharma, Esro, Birla More, Big Bazaar, Hypercity, etc with an order book position worth Rs 15 crore.
