Park Hyatt hotel in Hyderabad

Hyatt opened its first Park Hyatt hotel in Hyderabad, its second property in India, on Friday.

“Hyatt manages 450 hotels under its brand, of which only 25 Park Hyatts, its high-end and super-luxury hotels, are there across the globe. This launch of Park Hyatt in Hyderabad speaks about the growing popularity of Hyderabad city,” Subbarami Reddy, promoter of city-based Gayatri Group, told mediapersons after formally launching the hotel.

“We hope to attract a large chunk of business travellers, foreigners and luxury travellers. We expect to have more than 60-70 per cent occupancy in the next three years,” he said.

Park Hyatt Hyaderabad is owned and constructed by the Gayatri Group. The hotel, which has come up with an investment of Rs 700 crore, houses 200 rooms and 25 suites. The room tariff has been kept upwards of Rs 12,000 and for suites at Rs 32,000.

 

Also, it is one of the first hotels in Hyderabad to have 42 fully-furnished service apartments called ‘The Residence’.

Gayatri Projects is also planning to set up a Hyatt Regency hotel in near the Visakhapatnam airport, Reddy said.
