Philips India to expand footprint

Eyeing 100 per cent growth year-on-year(y-o-y) in the home decorative lighting range, Philips Electronics India has plans to increase its footprint to achieve the growth. Philips Electronics India is a subsidiary of the Netherland-based health and wellbeing company Royal Philip Electronics.

General manger, BU Consumer Luminaries Srikant V Nott said, Philips was eyeing the home decorative lighting segment that was showing 20-25 per cent growth in India. The segment is largely dominated by unorganised players, as Philips electronics plans to make inroads in the segment.
