Ranbaxy announces inclusion of Abacavir by WHO

Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd announced inclusion of one more drug Abacavir 300 mg tablets by the World Health Orgnisation (WHO) in the list of drugs to be used for anti- retroviral (ARV) treatment.

In communique to NSE Abacavir is widely used first line drug as part of ARV treatment, world over and it will be manufactured at company's Paonta Sahib facility.
