Reliance Q2 net up 9% to Rs 2,709cr

Reliance Industries has posted a 9% increase in net profit at Rs 2,709 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 2,481 crore in Q2FY06.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 28,496 crore in Q2FY07 from Rs 20,939 crore in Q2FY06.
