Tatra Group tries to clear the air on truck deal

To clear the air on the defence truck deal, the Tatra Group on Thursday denied the Tatra Sipox UK was just a trading company and not the original manufacturer of Tatra trucks. “There is no violation of the defence procurement rules, as firstly, Tatra Sipox (UK) sold to BEML and not directly to the ministry of defence and secondly, it is an authorised vendor,” the company said in a statement.
