The global count of coronavirus cases has crossed 44 million, of which over 10.6 million are currently active. The global death toll is now over 1.17 million, with the US having the greatest number of deaths.
In India, the confirmed case count is now nearing 8 million, of which 610,759 cases are currently active. Recovery rate has now crossed 90 per cent and the death toll stands at 120,054

India’s current active cases tally stands at 610,759 cases after witnessing a drop of 329,638 active cases in the current month so far. India has been witnessing a drop of over 13,000 active cases daily on an average since 4th Oct.
Delhi is witnessing a spike in daily new cases

India’s capital, Delhi, is seeing a surge in new cases. The state added almost 5,000 new cases on October 27, its highest single-day spike till date. Overall, Delhi’s tally of reported cases stands at 364,341 of which 330,112 cases have already recovered.
The US crossed 9 million confirmed cases
The world’s worst-hit country, the US, now has more than 9 million cases. The US is currently adding the biggest number of cases daily across the globe. Out of its current case tally, 65 per cent cases have recovered, while almost 3 million are still active.
