Sun Pharma ties up with Madhya Pradesh government to combat malaria
The funds for the same will come from the Corporate Social Responsibility funds earmarked by the company

Pharmaceutical major Sun Pharmaceutical has signed anagreement with the government of Madhya Pradesh to lend a helping hand toprevent reintroduction of Malaria in Mandla district in Madhya Pradesh. The funds for the same will come from the Corporate Social Responsibility funds earmarked by the company. The company will be responsible for recruiting man-poweressential for the project.
Dr Altaf, who is spearheading this mission for Sun Pharma, told Business Standard that this is going to be a door-to-door campaign inidentifying malaria affected patients and curing Malaria. While Sun Pharma will not be making available the medicines at the local druggist level, they will be incharge of ensuring that an environment is created to ensure that mosquitoes do not breed.
