20% polling in first two hours in Assam

An estimated 20 per cent of 27.37 lakh voters exercised their franchise in the first two hours of polling in Assam's three Lok Sabha constituencies of Karimganj, Silchar and Autonomous District (ST) today.

The voting will decide the fate of 37 candidates in the first phase poll.

Tight security arrangement has been made for the polling.
