AIMO annual awards on Sunday

The Andhra Pradesh board of All India Manufacturers' Organisation (AIMO) will be presenting its annual Dr M Visweswaraya Industrial Awards on Sunday.

Andhra Pradesh governor Sushilkumar Shinde will present the awards to GMR Industries Ltd (for best performance in large and medium scale sector), Surya Industrial Equipments (SSI sector), Vasudha Pharma Chem Ltd (exports) and SEC Industries Pvt Ltd (R&D).

These apart, according to AIMO chairman Y S R Venkat Rao, the Best Woman Entrepreneur award will be presented to P Janaki of Brahma Teja Paper Products, Best Industrial Worker award will be presented to Mohammed Sharifuddin of Alkali Metals Ltd and Member of the Year award will be presented to R Agarwal of Avon Organics Ltd.
