Cii For Fast Clearance Of Biotech Plans

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will ask for a single-window clearance mechanism for biotech products in its policy paper on the biotech industry, to be submitted to the government by the month-end.

The paper will focus on the need to reform the current biotech regulatory system, issue of intellectual property protection and promotion of gnomic and bio informatics.

Speaking on the sidelines of a CII organised conference
