Governor accepts resignation of scam tainted min

Orissa governor MC Bhandare has accepted the resignation of the state minister for women & child development Pramila Mallick who resigned on Saturday following allegations of her complicity in the multi-crore scam in supply of dal to Anganwadi centres and schools under the Mid Day Meal and Supplementary Nutrition Programme (SNP).

The interim charge of the ministry has been given to the state panchayatiraj minister Prafulla Samal.
