HP, Goa sign deal on horticulture

The Himachal Pradesh-run Horticulture Produce Marketing Corporation (HPMC) and the Goa State Horticulture Corporation are to sell each other's products in their respective resort states.

"HPMC and the Goa corporation heads CRB Lalit and Orlando Rodrigues have signed an MoU to enable promotion and sale of each other's products," said an HPMC spokesman on Wednesday.

While the Goa State Horticulture Corporation will sell HPMC apples and other fruit juices, jams and plum cider (wine), HPMC in return will sell Goa's agri products like cashewnuts and coccum in Himachal Pradesh.
