Mother Dairy In Pact With Ucdf

The Uttaranchal Co-operative Dairy Federation (UCDF) has joined hands with the Mother Dairy to open a new joint venture Anchal Milk Foods Ltd for the distribution milk and other products in the country.

Anil Kumar Sharma, UDFC milk commissioner, and Ravi Shankar, managing director of the Mother Dairy, signed the agreement here.

Under the MoU, Mother Dairy would have 51 per cent equity in the new venture, which was likely to be launched on October 22, said R S Tolia, Uttaranchal principal secretary. UCDF would hold rest of the shares.
