Rawat asks U'khand to pay Rs 225 cane SAP

With farmers in Uttarakhand resorting to agitation for a better sugarcane price, Union Minister of State for Labour Harish Rawat has asked the state government to declare a state advised price of Rs 225 per kg. Rawat also supported the demand of agitating farmers, who had been blocking traffic and trains demanding a price of Rs 200-250 per kg, and said the government should not delay the declaration of SAP.
