State To Pump Rs 406 Crore Into Textile Mills
The state Cabinet on Wednesday approved a proposal allowing for the advancement of Rs 406 crore as equity capital to 60 textile mills in the state by the Maharashtra Cooperatives Development Corporation (MCDC), on the lines of the facility extended to sugar mills.
Clarifying that the move was not a regressive one, chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said:
