US indices mixed; Oil drops, ADRs slump

The Wall Street ended mixed on Monday. The Dow Jones industrial average moved up 48 points to 11,429. The Nasdaq was down five points at 2,239.

The Indian ADRs continue to slide. Dr.Reddy's plunged over 10% to $33.55. VSNL slumped 9.5% to $18.97. Patni Computers, Infosys, Satyam, MTNL, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank dropped 1-5% each. Wipro, however, ended with a gain of 1% at $13.73.

The crude oil futures for June delivery plunged $2.63 to settle at $69.41 per barrel on the NYMEX.
