Varun shifted to Etah jail

BJP candidate Varun Gandhi, who was lodged in the district jail here over his hate speeches, has been shifted to Etah jail due to security reasons, official sources said.

Gandhi was shifted to Etah jail last night.

He was moved out due to security reasons, the sources said, adding that he was a flooded with a number of visitors in Pilibit.

Varun has been booked under the National Security Act (NSA) for inciting communal tensions by making provocative and inflammatory speeches during meetings held on March 7 at Dalganj and on March 8 at Barkhera area of Pilibhit district.
