Advantage India Day to be meet's theme today

Advantage India Day will be the theme of the ADB meet tomorrow. The 39th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank is being held from May 3-6 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.

The four main sessions, including the opening session on Advantage India day, will focus on India's economic liberalisation and the opportunities it presents for greater foreign direct investment and public-private partnership.

In consonance with the ADB's agenda of eradicating poverty through infrastructure-led growth, special focus would be on the $150-billion opportunity India offered in infrastructure development, a media statement said.
