Allahabad Bank opens farm school at Debra

Allahabad bank inaugurated a training institute for the farmers and the entrepreneurs at near Debra at East Midnapore, to help the farmers with a methodical approach towards economic activities.

This is the second institute of the state after Bolpur in Shantineketan at Birbhum district and it has similar institutes in the other parts of the countries as well.

Speaking on the occasion, AC Mahajan, chairman and managing director of the bank said, "The positive feedbacks received from such institutes in other parts of the country showed that the farmers and the entrepreneurs were utilising the training inputs for their economic benefit in an extensive manner."
