Axis Bank Q3 net up 66% at Rs 307cr

Axis Bank today reported 66.2% surge in net profit for the third quarter ended December 2007 at Rs 306.83 crore when compared with Rs 184.61 crore reported in the quarter ended December 2006.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE, total income for Q3FY08 increased 58.5% to Rs 2,290.24 crore from Rs 1,444.55 crore in Q3FY07.
