Canara Bank Q3 net rises 26%

Bangalore-based Canara Bank has posted 26.4% rise in net profit at Rs 458.83 crore for the third quarter (Q3) ended December 31, 2007 when compared with Rs 363.02 crore registered in Q3FY07.

Total income of the Bank increased 26.2% to Rs 4096.60 crore as against Rs 3245.39 crore registered during same period last year.
