Cherian Varghese is new chief of IIBF

K Cherian Varghese, chairman and managing Director of Union Bank of India (UBI),  has been elected president of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). This was announced in a release issued by UBI to the BSE today.

Cherian is also an associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers, London, the release added.
