Federal Bank launches contact centre

Kerala-based Federal Bank has launched a contact centre from today for providing better customer service, a top official of the bank said here.

Speaking to reporters, Raju Hormis, assistant general manager (public relations cell), said the services of the contact centre, will be available on a 24x7 basis and is equipped to respond to all customer queries.

With this, Federal bank has become one among the very few banks in the country to offer such a facility, he said.

Customers could avail services round the clock by dialing the Pan India toll Free Number 1800 425 1199. Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system is deployed to respond to all inbound calls for first level services like balance inquiry, last five transactions and status of cheque, he said.

 

The contact centre is equipped to handle customer queries in multiple languages, he said.

With the launch of the contact centre, bank is offering tele-banking services also with value added services like funds transfer, payment of utility bills, insurance premium and remittance of school fee, he said.
