Forex reserves up $37mn at $139.48bn

Foreign exchange reserves increased $37 million to $139.481 billion for the week ended January 27, according to the weekly statistical supplement released by the Reserve Bank of India on Friday.

Foreign currency assets moved up $35 million to $133.281 billion. Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $5.274 billion and $5 million, respectively.

The Reserve Tranche Position with the IMF increased $2 million to $921 million.
