Punjab National Bank Q1 net up 16%

Punjab National Bank today reported a 16% rise in net profit at Rs 425.07 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 367.52 crore for Q1FY07.

According to an official release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income has increased to Rs 3795.12 crore from Rs 2923.20 crore for Q1FY07.
