RBI credit policy review on October 24

Reserve Bank governor D Subbarao will present "the Mid-Term Review of the Annual Policy Statement" (credit policy) on October 24, the Central bank said today.        

It will be for the first time that D Subbarao will be presenting the credit policy stand of the bank as he took over as governor early this month.        

RBI press note said the governor will meet the chief executives of major commercial banks that day.
