Sundaram Fin to host IFLA meet

Sundaram Finance will host the annual meet of the International Finance and Leasing Association (IFLA), a network of leading finance companies worldwide, in Chennai for the first time.

The event will be held on April 11-12, 2007, with the theme 'How to accelerate growth.' Senior management teams from over 19 global finance and leasing companies are expected to participate.

"Our relationship with IFLA has been very successful and we have learnt quite a lot from various discussions that we have had with the other member companies. We have also contributed to this knowledge-sharing forum. Most of the other companies' business model is transaction-based and is automated. So, we have shared our business model with them on how to go about with people-to-people relationship, which greatly helps in customer retention," Srinivasaraghavan, managing director, Sundaram Finance, said.
